I think that facial expressions reflect “inner” and “outer” behavioral responses. Through the act of “listening,” the expression appears on the face. My theme is “Surprise.” I chose children because their kind and innocent hearts are reflected in their true faces, so I designed this work.
The child’s eyes are wide open, their mouth is round, their ear is large and exaggerated, and their hand is gently placed behind the ear to enhance the richness of the “listening” action.
