2010 – W x D x H (cm) : – Stone sculpture – Unique piece
It was a basalt stone originally used as a garden stepping stone by the builder. Being surprised by the beauty of the material, I used it to design a work of elegant orchids by matching it with the texture of the stone’s surface. The wooden base is made with dead branches from the seashore, held together by nails. The creation of this work truly put into practice the spirit of no distinction between noble or non-noble materials.
